www.krantz.asia Chilled Beam With Ventilation Function, Inductive / Two-sided Discharge, DK-LIG/Z: This two-way blow active chilled beam comprises an aluminium heat exchanger with integrated copper serpentine tube in a powder coated housing made of galvanised steel. Primary air is discharged by induction nozzles located in slots either side of the heat exchanger, to draw secondary air from the room across the heat exchanger. A mixture of primary and secondary air is discharged from the two slots. Coanda attachment of the discharged air to the abutting solid ceiling, that is to be flush with the underside of the chilled beam, ensures high level horizontal projection of the supply air into the space. The heat exchanger can be either 2-pipe or 4-pipe. The active chilled beam may be used to provide sensible cooling and/or heating.
