Pokemon Heart Gold Japanese Version - Gym Leader Battles - Kotone VS Misty

This is an epic battle for me to remember! Misty is tough but the battle was well worth it. Uh, there isn't really much I can say about her, but I'll leave that up to you guys, LOL *Insert how much you love Misty here* Anyway, lets get down to the real purpose of the video. Recommended items: Full restore, Ice Heal, Paralyze Heal. Persim Berry Recommended level: At least level 54. Misty doesn't full around, knowing how much of a pest you have been to her. I went with an under-level run so I can spice up the difficulty. I'm pretty sure you have all done that. Golduck: Level 49 - Type: Water Weaknesses: Electric, Grass Invulnerability: None Held Item: None Ability: Damp - "Damp prevents self-destruction. Therefore, the moves Selfdestruct and Explosion cannot be used. Also, the ability Aftermath will not activate." - Quoted from Bulbapedia. Golduck knows water pulse, a move that has a chance of getting you confused, disable also prevents you from using one of your attacks for a few turns, it also knows psychic and psych up which will copy your stat gains say for example, if you use bulk up four times, it will mimic those stats. Quagsire: Level 49 - Type: Water/Ground Weaknesses: Grass (4x) Invulnerability: None Held Item: None Ability: Water Absorb - Heals self when attacked with a water type move. Avoid using water based moves. Quagsire knows water pulse, it knows amnesia that will help raise it's special defense, rain dance boosts water type moves for five turns and it ...

Pokemon Heart Gold Japanese Version - Gym Leader Battles - Kotone VS Pryce

Ice type gyms are somewhat tricky but allow me to help alleviate yourself from a cynical situation. Pryce is the seventh gym leader and he uses ice type Pokemon. Did you know that he is the "Mask of Ice" in the PokeSpecial Manga? I have always wanted to read that, although I do not understand Japanese... Okay, I owe my fellow viewers a description. If you got an Ampharos and a Feraligatr, this makes this fight an easy way out. My level recommendation for this match is at least level 36. If you are using an under-leveled team, I highly suggest that you put X-Attack, X-Defend, X-Speed and Dire Hits to good use. Trust me, they really work. Recommended items: Super Potion and Ice Heal. Seel: Level 30 - Type: Water Weaknesses: Grass, Water, Electric Ability: Unknown "Bulbapedia" Seel knows rest which can be a pain in the neck if you can't damage it good enough. Next it has snore, a move that causes flinching when the user is asleep. Seel also knows icy wind which will lower the target's speed stat if hit. It also knows hail which will summon a hail storm for five turns. This hailstorm will not affect ice types. Dewgong: Level 32 - Type: Water/Ice Weaknesses: Grass, Water, Fighting, Electric and Steel Ability: Thick Fat Dewgong is nothing much of a threat unless you have played your cards right. If you got Ampharos, you can take it out as soon as possible. Ampharos's speed stat puts Dewgong out of commission. Dewgong knows aurora beam, sleep talk, ice shard (that move always ...

Kochuu: Japanese Architecture / Influence & Origin DVD Screener

Kochuu: Japanese Architecture / Influence & Origin A film by Jesper Wachtmeister KOCHUU is a visually stunning film about modern Japanese architecture, its roots in the Japanese tradition, and its impact on the Nordic building tradition. Winding its way through visions of the future and traditional concepts, nature and concrete, gardens and high-tech spaces, the film explains how contemporary Japanese architects strive to unite the ways of modern man with the old philosophies in astounding constructions. KOCHUU, which translates as "in the jar," refers to the Japanese tradition of constructing small, enclosed physical spaces, which create the impression of a separate universe. The film illustrates key components of traditional Japanese architecture, such as reducing the distinction between outdoors and indoors, disrupting the symmetrical, building with wooden posts and beams rather than with walls, modular construction techniques, and its symbiotic relationship with water, light and nature. The film illustrates these concepts through remarkable views of the Imperial Katsura Palace, the Todai-Ji Temple, the Naoshima Contemporary Art Museum, the Sony Tower, numerous teahouses and gardens, as well as examples of the cross-fertilization evidenced in buildings throughout Scandinavia, and shows how 'invisible' Japanese traditions are evident even in modern, high-tech buildings. KOCHUU also features interviews with some of Japan's leading architects as well as Scandinavian ...
